Momma's Jack Daniels Spicy Marinade / Glaze for Dove

Y'all need to try this. Mom cooked this last night. It was SOOOOO good!
    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    • 3 teaspoons molasses
    • 1 cup Jack Daniels Whiskey
    • 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
    • 6 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
    • 2 tablespoon chili pepper paste
    • 2 teaspoon minced garlic
    • 2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Use 1/2 of this mixture for a marinade. Remove dove breasts from bone and add to marinade. Refrigerate a couple hours.

Pour remainder of liquid in a saucepan and heat to thicken for glaze.

Grill for a couple minutes each side while brushing glaze on top.

Sounds great. An old friend used something very similar on dove and teal breasts. It was awesome.

I've learned that Jack is a good ingredient in most sauces and marinades.
