Congrats on the place and retirement. That's where we all strive to get to some day.

Congratulations Mike! You need to give me a call, and let me know where you are, so I can come see you before you move.

              Thanks Brian !!

We are going to get an Iowa ASA Federation up and running. It only makes sense....ASA's title sponsor...Delta Mckenzie is in Iowa. There has never been an ASA state qualifier held in the state.

We are NOT going to try to make it as big as the Texas Federation. Too much work for a couple of retirees. We will probably have one or two state qualifiers and a state championship.

Mark. Let's meet up for lunch. We will be here until mid summer.

Last week the weather up there was beautiful. It froze up again over the weekend.

Tomorrow high of 40 with 70% chance of severe thunderstorms then its going to get down to 19 tomorrow night.

Here are some progress pictures on our building pad in Iowa. The excavation contractor is about finished. This was a few days ago. It is covered in snow again today.[emoji21] This is the second time we have had snow since he started the excavation work.

The picture with the truck in the foreground is view out of the living room down toward our creek bottom. As you can see we had to cut into the side of a pretty steep hill to make a level area for our building.

Man I don't think I could see Texas from there!

Congratulations on living your dream and I hope you're happy up there!

More progress pictures from our farm in Iowa. The driveway sub grade is done. Ready for gravel. Still a little snow on the ground. 27 degrees this morning. You can see how the house will be sitting up on the hillside by the elevation of the driveway.

How big is your basement going to be? You won't fit in without a basement ya know.

No basement. The 30 grand that a basement would cost is going into an indoor archery range (yeah right) or other things that Tracy specifies.

We will have an in ground storm shelter.
