West Texas Cat

It's about 28 miles South of Sanderson, kinda up next to Big Bend Park. They said there is signs of a bigger cat where they trapped that one. And they also said that, that is the second cat in 2 weeks along with 15 coyotes in the last month.

Which ranch was it on? Thats pretty close to where we mule deer hunt between the Pope ranch and Dove Mountain ranch.

Im pretty sure that thing was making a terrible noise when they walked up on it. Im not really sure I would be up for the task of checking traps around there.

Not to be arguementative. But if you made your living raising cattle and these cats were on your place eating your calves, you wouldn't do what ever necessary to protect your income?

I'm not sure the name of their ranch. It's a family ranch they have had for quite a while. I will find out the name.

Heck of a good job catching that cat in a trap.... I have trapped for years, and it takes mad skills to trap a lion in a spring trap. THE PERFECT SET!
