    My field point target

I cant take credit for the design of this target that goes to a buddy who showed this to me 25 years ago. Since then I only had to refurbish the target 3 times with new cardboard. This time was the first time to share it here.

    Supplies:
    2 4x4s
4 1/2 inch all thread with 12 nuts
1/4 plate (or what ever you got) for top and bottom of target
card board boxes or just card board to fit your size target mine is 12"D x 42"W x42ish tall

Drill holes for all thread in 4x4s and plates. Recess one nut on bottom of all thread put on the bottom plate and tighten, should look like this:

Had 1/2 of the arrow penetration at 20 yards 70# bow

*Warning! if you tighten too much you will need a friend to help you pull you arrows out! If it seems a bit tough to pull just get some armor all wipes and wipe down your arrows before shooting

When I was in San Antonio we shot indoor on tgts like that and I had one in the attic shooting range in our headquarters in Germany. They work fine indoors and outdoors if you keep the moisture away.
