Ordered a knife kit from txknifeco.com few questions. Do the heat treatment it before they send it out or after, and the kitchen, is it a kit?? Ordered extras if it does.

They're already heat treated.try to drill a hole in the tang and you'll know for sure

Most of the time when you order a kit it will say if the blade is heat treated or not. If you're still not sure I'm sure you can contact the seller and ask him. If not you will want to have it heat treated before you put the handles on it.
