pistol sights ??????????

i picked up a SS ruger blackhawk in 45 colt 7 1/2" barrel yesturday. what sights would you recommend? i was thinking some fiber optics but there are a bunch to choose from. if not fiber optics was thinking a small red dot in place of the rear sight. anyone have any experience with either one?

On my Super Blackhawk, I just put a white outline rear blade. Most of the Ruger rear blades interchange from their different handguns. I also put a little white on the front sight. Preserves the great look of the gun, and adds a little low light visibility.

Any revolver I own will have XS sights. I'm not a huge fan on semi-auto's but they are awesome on revolvers. Or you could throw a Dr.Optic on it...that would be cool.

An optic instead of sights will limit your holster options.
