Hard to beat kifaru for packing out animals. I found mine on rokslide. Its a bikini frame with a highcamp bag and a grabit. I think you could get set up for under $400 pretty easily. I would get a cargo panel or a grabit and a small bag to put your stuff in while hunting. Ive carried out two bucks whole and another quartered up, all of them were easy. I kind of like having the capability to carry the whole deer out because its easier to keep the meat clean. Its gonna be fairly painful to do that with any pack of lower quality.
