Yeah it was. Plus we are going to watch my Ray Ray perform in her One Act Play UIL competition here in a few. That was the reason for sleeping in...if I woulda hunted, and killed a deer, I likely would miss it.

I should be in the stand this evening...unless family stuff comes up. I’ve gotta go to the DDR and gather our horses and haul them over here today. Kids are wanting to ride!

No doubt! It felt good to not get up at 4 am. Lol.

Thinking about heading out soon. Gonna check with Ray Ray and see if she wants to hunt. It’s plenty warm outside now. If she decides to stay at the house, I might sit in my pig box in the back. Deer activity has been very slow the last two days.

Well I guess last night made up for me missing this morning’s hunt! Lmao

No excuse other than when my alarm went off at 4:00 am, I turned it off, and went back to sleep. Serious north wind here today...ranch chores, processing my doe, house cleaning, etc. Sounds fun right? Lol
