Bear with me now,
I've always been a take it to the shop kind of guy but figured I would try and get and get myself set up this year as I made a few changes. How hard can it be right?
Well heres what I got:
2008 Bowtech General
Shooting about 62-65 pounds 28 inch draw.
FMJ 340's 27" 125 gr heads
So the new changes were new strings and shorter arrows.
Step 1, I french tuned and got everything touching the string on the target.
Step 2, I took it out to 20 and got it sighted in.
Then I noticed a considerable kick out in the arrows in flight
Step 4, I paper tuned and it was tearing a good inch left and slightly low.
I adjusted the rest and got it shooting bullet holes.
Resighted and now my sight is almost maxed out to the left.
Step 5, french tuned again and everything is still tight.
But, My center shot is way off to the left.
I've checked everything I can with out a press. Tiller is good. Knocking point seems good to me but this is something I am still trying to figure out. So my last idea is cam lean?
or timing?
Any insight on how to check these last two items? Or do I just need to give in and take it into a shop?
Thanks,
