    Fig stuff

    I don't know what you'd even call this, but my mom made some for us yesterday.

    As many fresh figs as you want, cut the stem off and then cut them in half.
    I guess slices would be OK too.

    Pour balsamic vinegar over figs. Don't be stingy.

    Sprinkle bleu cheese over the top.

    Serve with your choice of crackers. Triscuits were my pick.

    It sounds weird, but it's actually VERY good.

    Sounds like something to try. I picked enough for 2 jars of preserves on the 4th. My MIL made it yesterday and I can't wait to try it. I love them right off the tree when they are ripe and sweet.
