              Yeah I couldn't believe how fast it happened but last Wednesday you could really tell he was hurting. I remember his very first show when he came here from Cleveland 6 years ago when he took over Michael Berry old spot. I pray for his wife and 3 kids. Especially his 12 year old son Jake. It's just a bad deal all around. Rest in Peace Matt.

                            When Matt made that announcement last week I told my wife he turned to home hospice and likely wouldn't last the week. What a shame. He had great attitude and loved Texas.

                              He was a Texan who was born up north. I moved here a few years ago and listened a lot. Nice to hear a guy who got here the same way I did. Going to miss his voice.
