Like mentioned above, Colorado is real funny with their water rights. I'd do a lot of checking and make sure it's legal first. We lived there for 3 years. Some areas are more strict than others. Like so strict that you are not allowed to collect rain water because it prevents run off that eventually ends up in the streams.
