This deer just showed up, skin and bones. Heís obviously got something wrong, all our other deer are fat as theyíve ever been.

He has something wrong, but deer are tough. I would let him get over it.....or not, but he doesn’t seem like good table fare to me.

May have pneumonia or worms, he may not have any teeth and be starving.

I can't tell from the angles, but he could be very very old. I had a deer around like that. He was ancient.

Plus, all of my cows lose weight like that when they get old. They cannot eat enough because they cannot chew very well.

why shoot it??? Meat isn't going to be good, he is not an old deer(legs too long looking), not a trophy rack. Let him go, see if he recovers for next year.

May have been trapped up or caught up. I would let him feed out and see what he throws next year when healthy. No benefit to taking him out right now. He has already been through hell!

Got a kicker too

I wouldn’t shoot him. Not worth burning a tag on. He’s young so he may pull through and be something nice next few years

And if he dies..... well that’s Mother Nature... and sometimes she a @&$^%#..... but perfect in design
