Brand new killin stick!!!

Went and talked to Rob Lee the other day and had a few things worked out on my recurve. While I was there he let me shoot a long bow he had finished, bad move on my part. I dreamed about the stupid bow for a week, then as luck would have it my matthews z7 sold! I called up there and asked if it was still for sale and well the rest is history. Here are some pics. It is the new Natural edition they have out. 52# @ 28"



I hate to admit it but I picked it up Monday at 5pm was in the stand at 7pm and missed a good pig at about 8:45pm under a feeder light. I was bummed out but I have now got in touch with the bow and in going back for revenge in the Morning. I hope to have pics of something dead to share tomorrow.

No it's a leather wrap. It is awesome this time of year when your hands are sweaty.

Thanks, yes, I know that's a leather grip and they ARE handy for sweaty hands.
But the riser looks like a recurve grip...and I admit I get confused about whether all recurve risers are considered pistol grips or what....For instance, here's a pic of a longbow/recurve hybrid and the maker describes the grip as a pistol grip:

Whatever the riser type, it's still a great-looking bow!
And I'm still confused about what exactly IS a "pistol grip"...but rather than hijack your thread, I believe I'll start my own and ask the question.
