    220 gr BH?

I shoot a 45# pound recurve and found that 125-145 grain bh's fly really well from my setup. I found some 4 blade 220 grain Muzzy phantoms that I'm wanting to try. Will this be too heavy of a bh shooting a 29 in 2016 arrow?

Most likely you will weaken the spine of that arrow setup too much. You might need to go to a stiffer arrow..

If it works don't fix it. PM sent about your string.

You can make a 220 grain point out of a screw and some nuts. It's a cheap way to try and see. What bow, arrows and string are you using. It's likely that if 125s fly well then the 220 will weaken the shaft too much but you may be able to tweak your set up a little (cut the shafts a little or switch from FF string to B50) and get what you want.
