I know good & cheap don't often come together, but with as many boars as you all have down there - well it keeps me coming back!
We've hunted boar several times within about 1.5 hours from Texarkana - and had too much fun to not keep doing it.
With an 8-9 hour drive, we've always just come in on a Friday night, hunt Saturday and maybe Sunday morning and leave by noon.
Cost for a couple boars has been $300-$400.
We just got back from a hunt at Hunters Creek Ranch outside of Mt. Vernon. Had a great time on a very thick ranch. 6 of us got 9 boars on a day hunt. We are going back February 2021. With as thick as the place is, Jan/Feb are best times to go and they're pretty much booked those months for 2020. Which is fine with me as I have other hunts planned for next year.
My brother on the other hand doesn't, and is looking for a boar hunt - good, cheap and not more than a couple hours from Texarkana.
Looking for recommendations (gun hunt) to give him. Thanks.
