Best Weed Eater for Several Acres?

Gents,

It’s that time of year and I am in need of a good weed eater for maintaining several acres.

I want a straight shaft commercial duty trimmer. 2 or 4 stroke makes no difference to me.

What do you guys suggest?

Dont think they are made any more but my shindawa is over 15 years old. Run trufuel in whatever you get.

If you are using it alot and have a store close with ethanol free fuel get that and mix it with your oil. Cheaper if you are going through alot of it.

Echo or Stihl are the only good options.

I use a combination of $200 Stihl straight shaft trimmer (cheapest one) and Dow Rodeo weed killer which has 53% Glyphosate from Tractor Supply for my 3 acres (1600’ of fence, house pool, and shed).
