Are those post set in the ground? How did you do it?

Havent started the inside yet. Posts under the cabin are on block supports. Where the porch is its solid rock. Going back next week to try to pour a concrete colum of some sort around the porch posts. Still trying to figure it out honestly. This is my first big build.
