    We lost a brother today

Today we lost not only a good friend and mentor to most of us, but a brother to us all. Chuck was an awesome guy to work with. Always had a smile on his face that would light up a room, and a positive attitude about everything. I had the opportunity to be stationed with this man for a year and learned so much from him, and thanks to his patience and willing to teach I was given many opportunities to be a relief driver on the ladder truck. Chuck spent almost 25 years dedicating his time serving the community, and the legacy that he left behind will not soon be forgotten. For the last few years he battled cancer, he fought hard and never gave up. This morning he was called home to the Lord.

Rest easy Chuck, we will take it from here. You will forever be remembered in ours hearts.
