              Was intended for you to answer the text. Wasn't a legit tracking #. He doesn't care who cash's the check and sends back the $1500 to him while you wait only to hear the check didn't clear.

                    Dealt with something similar a couple months ago. Told the guy I was hanging on to the money until his cashiers check cleared....it didn't.

                      We just dealt with the same scam several weeks ago. At the time we were selling our electric piano. A buyer wanted it and gave many of the same instructions Ronnie had above. We asked $350 for the piano and a check showed up in the mail for $2000. There was a business address on the envelope so we called that business. It was legitimate but they told my wife the FBI was already involved. They gave my wife a number to the FBI fraud division. I ended up selling the piano to a TBHer instead.
