What's everyone's honest opinion, did a sponge paint job on my Ar, had it on here for sale but had no interest, so decided to keep and do my own thing with it, can always get the paint remover and take off but wanted to see what yall's thoughts were, I'm 62 so not going to hurt my feelings

God Bless

I have done a few. It depends on what you are wanting as far as looks. To me it doesn't have enough contrast between colors. As far as camo goes there is very very few things that are black. Paint everything.

Here is one that blends the colors you might see in West Texas. You can how the black bipod sticks out.

I'd prefer a lighter base layer unless you plan on jungle warfare. But the texture and pattern is great!

Very cool. I have been thinking about water dipping but that seems to get pricey, or it could get pricey.

Good job!

Well to be honest with you all, I went to Hobby Lobby, bought a painters sponge and then bought some flat enamel paint, desert tan and olive green, poured them in a paper plate clean gun good with alcohol, most things on internet said to paint whole gun a light green but I wanted to leave it black, and just come up with my on look, so got the sponge and went to town, was going to have it dipped but wanted almost $200, so I said what the crap, lets see what I can do for $20.00 and this is how it ended up.
.

God Bless
