He's the luckiest little kid I know. He wins stuff all the time. Back in August we were the speakers for the Crappie Anglers of Texas seminar in Carrolton and he happened to buy some raffle tickets for prizes they gave away that night! It took 2 of us to get all the stuff he won to the truck and one item happened to be a 1/2 day trip with Mark Standridge. I've known Mark for a while and fish against him a good bit! We talked about wanting to go somewhere I've never been and since that's kinda hard to do we settled on Murvaul! He doesn't do trips there anymore and hasn't been on the lake in over a year but we didn't care! Had a good breakfast at Fuglers and hit the water about 930. Fished several piles and picked up several nice fish here and there. Had to move a lot! There's brush all over that lake! If I ever went back it wouldn't be hard to find stuff to fish! Several of the boat docks looked promising as well! Mark worked his tail off and I think he was having as much fun as we were! Little man was sticking some studs and after the fish were cleaned we hit the cafe again for a burger!! If anybody is looking for a guide on Palestine, Tawakoni or Fork. Marks as salty as they come on any of those! Can't beat starting your week slinging slabs over the rails!!!
