    Traditional FSC Week 13

I don't think anyone will be trying this now that it's dark,
so I am going ahead & calling week 13.

Similar to last week, but I like bees, so we'll shoot a hornet this time.

Print the first image to an 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper.

Shoot 3 shots, first shot of the day, on 3 separate days.

Take your shots from 10 yards (5 for the kiddos).

The second image is how it is to be scored.

Line hits score the higher of the two scores.

Any arrow touching body color outside the three marked scoring areas, including legs, wings, and antenna score Negative 5 (-5)
Blank paper, or off the paper score 0 (zero)

Highest score wins the call for week 14

Just shot Day 1: 20, with two 10s and a clean miss. (Think I was afraid of destroying my arrows with that third shot.)

Is this challenge best single day score or best 3-day total?

        That's some darn fine shooting.

Shoot 3 shots, first shot of the day, on 3 separate days.

I should have made that more clear - It's 3 shots total for the week. One shot/first shot of the day for 3 days. Sorry

Count your first shot, and disregard the last two.

          Thank you, sir.

And, okey dokey. First shot was the best, anyway: 10.

          Thanks for clarification, Rick

              Big fat zero for me.
Got zeroed in the next 5 at 15 though. That shot they gave me earlier deadened the shoulder.[emoji16]
              Well mostly.

Kinda liking that 10-yard range. Day 2: Another 10. So 20, so far.

LOL, after telling Ellis what "not" to do, I went out there & did the same thing.

In my defense - I did have the little kiddo, and the dog distracting me.

                  All 10's, so Day 1 shot = 10 points.

                              Day 1- Zero

The red hornets cleared out the deadbodies from their garage eaves nest last week. The new ladies have posted up watch. I avoid eye contact with them...they queue in and immediately assume attack posture if eye contact is made. Im hoping either the Carolina Wrens or the King Birds takem out soon.
