    Impressive that he got that old on public land with so many people that shoot on sight ... that throat patch looks like an antelope ... awesome deer!

        I lost my grandfather in 2008. I shot my first buck with the rifle he left to me the same year that he passed away. It's pretty cool to think that this buck could have been around the same time my grandpa was alive.

        I didn't even get into bowhunting til 2011. Wow.

        The stuff that deer must have seen.

                          Some area's are finally starting to have enough doe for an echo rut...In Navarro the primary rut is around Nov 25 with echo 28 days later...
