My season at my hill country lease starts when the general season starts. This past opener was tough. Seemed to have a lot of night time activity and with the green range conditions, deer are really spread out.
Sunday evening I decided to take a doe if the opportunity presented itself and at about 5:15 it did. Just under 20 yards, the Rage took off the top of her heart. 30 yards of heavy blood and that was it. Backstraps on the ground.
