    Redemption! Scored on a doe!

After losing that buck to the yotes, I was eager to get a clean kill. This doe presented me with a 10 -12 yrd barely quartering away shot. When she started to stare in the opposite direction I drew, aimed and released. Hit her with what looked like a perfect heart shot. The arrow lodged in the off shoulder and blood poured as she wheeled off. Blood trail was great for 1st 15 yrds, but got real sparse after that. Got a little worried, came back after an hour with my lacy and she found her in about a minute 90-100 yrds away buried in the brush. Silverflame Xl center punched the heart; surprised she made it that far. Sorry about the poor pic quality, but I'm happy...

That's a good big ol' doe. They are usually harder to kill than the bucks are.

Congrats on the doe! Looks like this one is going to end up in the freezer and not in the yotes bellies!

What bow is that you are shooting?

                  Congrats and great shot!

Bisch, that is a Sweptwing recurve that Rick Erdman (sp?) in Pasadena made for me.
