Bison Gen 2 Coolers

I ordered a Bison Gen 2 cooler in 125qt and Jeremy was super helpful and the shipping was fast! I wouldn’t hesitate to order another cooler from them.




One thing I noticed immediately about the Gen 2 vs my older ones is that the drain plug is bigger which is great.

I wish they had changed the latches. I don’t know if it is just mine but it is annoying not being able to just let the lid shut on its own. I always have to move the latches out of the way so it can close. The Yeti latches stay up and out of the way.

Jeremy Denson and his dad started Bison and still own it as far as I know.

I bought my wife a Gen2 25 quart and your right the drain plug is a great improvement and the new grey color looks great

I have the same problem with my RTIC.

I have the same problem with my RTIC.

Pull the pin that holds the latch out enough to insert a 1/4” lock washer in between the latch and lid. Problem solved. I did this to all my yetis/ rtics. Now the latches stick out like a bad case of morning wood.

We've actually added a small knuckle on the backside of the latches to address this issue. They now stay up quite a bit better than before. We also beefed up the bulbs by about 30% which increases durability. Thank you for the feedback!
