Well guys after a long season hunting in grayson and not seeing anything i wanted to take i decided to go help out my FIL and shoot a big ole 8 y/o cull. After field dressed this buck weighed 170lbs, he used to be a decent deer and then this year he declined severely as you can see. Spent all day today and half of yesterday processing this bad boy. Holy crap, Ive decided i will only process one deer a year and ill let the pros do the rest!!!

Great deer. Never seen one decline to that point. Huge body.
Other than the protein cost, I might have let him "retire gracefully."
