If you ever come to the Austin area, I have two mature Carolina Reaper plants that you can have! I used to work with a guy that loved HOT! He would give me $20 a quart for my salsa made with Reapers. I bought the plants just for him.
Alas, he died...

As much as I like hit stuff, I can't hang anymore. I pay the price if I get into the hit stuff nowadays. I still do it to myself on a regular basis because I like it. But, I can't hang with the Ghost pepper hot.

I haven't found anything I couldn't eat but tend to stop when there is no flavor and just heat. I'd certainly be down to try some reaper salsa or that red river rage.

I used to make and eat food as hot as it can be made.

I have mellowed a bit in later years but I still like it pretty hot.....just not stupid hot. I can handle it no problem.......the next day is not worth it.
