Default Axis Buck A or B

I was just looking at my trail camera pictures and found these two bucks! Look at the timestamp, they were there at almost the same time. The first buck has been rubbing that tree for at least 4 years. I'm not sure about the other one.

So what buck would you shoot.

A). Old one eyed war horse

B). Younger stud in his prime

Free range? I'd probably kill the first one that stepped out. However, old deer are cool.

Lucky for you to have such a choice.

Btw I don't like axis trophies unless they are hard horn.
So neither for another month or two.

I agree on the hard horn. I've never had a desire to kill an animal in velvet.

I had some Axis meat for the first time the other day. I'm shooting the first one that gives me a shot (even if it's neither of these.). In velvet, ok fine, bet it still tastes good!

I was wondering same thing.

OP I'd be proud of either of them. A is old and has character, B would make a gorgeous shoulder mount. Being I've never shot an axis I'd be open to which ever one presented an opportunity!

Since i have never had an opportunity to kill an axis I would take either but if I had them both in front of me it would be A because of the age.
