I don't baste mine. But occasionally I'll inject midway through the cook. I use 1/3 cup of water 1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar 1/3 cup of olive oil and some some brisket rub to the mix. If it's a small brisket I do t use all of the marinade larger one I inject twice during the cooking period.

You mean mop?

1 onion
4 lemons
1 stick of butter
Half cup or so of apple cidar vinegar
Little bit of oil
Couple cloves garlic
Lots of salt
Couple thing of whole all spice crushed up
Water

Boil for a bit to get everything cooked together then use. Freeze excess and use later if you want.

This is a brisket, not pork. Wrap it after about 6 hours if you want it extra moist: no need to mop it.
