After talking with Todd it looks like our ETA to Los Cucos Friday after checking in is going to be around 1 ish. Could be a tad earlier but that's the plan. If you want to go earlier and get a big table or get a margarita head start getrdone! We'll be there shortly

Yup!

Plan for tomorrow is: roll into the Hilton and check in

Go to Los Cucos

Drop off donkey kong at the park and hang there first the rest of my energy or until John runs out of margaritas.

Big Big Big Thank You to all the great folks that are Team Chicken Wing, Team Fajita, Team Sweet Thangs, and Team Kid Food to make our big tent city community of teams go off without a hitch....whether it was the donations, the set up and breakdown or all the prep, mixing, grilling, or in Todd's case, finger pointing , it was a job well done ! Thank you all for pulling some weight and making us a well oiled machine. From Team Wings....Thanks yous go out to everybody but wanted to give a shoutout to Justin for procuring the wings at a great price and Kactus Killer/Jack and Hank for their great adds to our sauce list. Oh yeah....and Shane, James, Louie, Justin and Skloss for manning the grills for a large portion of the day.....and of course my saucing partner and VOICE of Team Wing on the mic, Jake..

Also...thank you to the Bownanza attendees for mowing down 80s lbs of wingettes and drumettes so we didn't have to take any home....

Enjoyed it folks!.....

One more thing....If you had your name on the shirt list and either forgot to pick it up or weren't able to make it, please contact Todd to see about obtaining it. Todd paid for them all up front and we don't want Todd to be stuck with any unnecessary expenses.....thank yall!

While fresh in our minds. Any suggestions for possible review for next year to smooth things out??

Water/ice/cooler for our team in the supplies list next year. Water is cheap as is ice and Lord knows we have the coolers. I prepped well for everything but Bownanza day hydration and ice. May need to hit up the ice machine at the hotel Sat am. Had a lot fo folks asking me for water...and I only had a few bottles due to poor planning.

Peach Shine ingredients for Friday night.......with somebody in charge of making it..

More tongs....we always need more tongs...LOL

Marinate chicken Frid night or first thing Sat am before or while tents are being put up... Start grilling no later than 10:00-10:30. Put wings in covered foil pan in iceless cooler to keep them warm and so we can serve a large amount of wings on the first round instead of 20.. to get it rolling.

I am always prepared myself but sometimes always fails every now and then. I asked Todd about water Thursday because we agreed we had enough and I didnt buy any more to save room. He handed my half a case when I asked where it was Sat and said that's all we have left... I put it on my tiny bit of ice from Friday am. It was gone quick.
