Ain't no way I would fire that thing up. Display it like it is.

I need to dig around some. I remembered that my dad's Coleman ice chest is somewhere.

I'll play. I've had these hanging in my man cave/office for a while

Not a Coleman but pretty cool

Coleman 202. has a 61 on it. I am guessing that is the year

Found this old cooler in an junk store while I was living in Kansas. Was still brand new in the box. I didn't give much for it and use it all the time.

How do you go about dating the lanterns? I've got a 200A similar to the one above as well as a green twin mantle.

While unleaded gas burns dirtier and clogs the generator over time, it's great to have the option to use it in case of emergency.

One of my hunting buddies has the Powerhouse lantern and stove. They are definitely brighter and hotter, but they burn a LOT more fuel.

I've got a question for you more seasoned fellers. Coleman says you should drain fuel tanks before storing stoves and lanterns to prevent lacquering. Lanterns, no problem. Stoves, big problem. Anyone have any idea why Coleman designed the stove tanks like they did?

Thanks! I was doing my pre-season maintenance and function checks this weekend and got my biannual reminder of how hard it is to drain a Coleman stove fuel tank.

I got a text message from a buddy of mine asking me if I was interested in these lanterns. The blue lantern is an old Thermos with a Coleman globe. The others are what I call common lanterns. All will go nicely with my collection.

Apparently, the lady misplaced the blue so no joy. She said she would look for it. Got the rest of them though.

I will get the 288's and the duel fuel cleaned up for using. Not sure about the other two.

Randy, I will save you some on the next round.

You got a single mantle?? 200A? I know a guy who has Coleman Duel Fuel for sale right now. I would take it, but I have one already.

He has two single burners as well, but for 50.

200A are awesome lantern. I got a Coleman accessory try for mine. I keep my extra mantles in there. Some sellers want way too much money for those little reds.

You need to find your birth month and year lantern.

I got one earlier this year. It's being restored into a very cool looking lantern.
