I like it. However I assume the desired affect would change around the country. Don't look at the size. Look at the old school backpack and the final pack out of the field after the meat was already in camp. Very cool commemorative is mount.

I will say it has character and I believe it is the thought behind it rather than the
mount itself. Pretty cool!!

Different strokes for different folks. I'm sure it is a great remembrance of a hunt for someone, so cool deal. Me personally, not a huge fan.

To each his own.

I personally feel the mount should show the animal in its full glory. JMO

I've seen a few over here just like that, but with elk or muleys. I think it's a great way to retire an old pack and display your trophy at the same time!

We might end up doing one like this.

Seems like more of a testament to the work put in to get an animal than rememberence of a trophy in its natural glory.

This!

I wouldn't do it, but I like it. I would assume it was done to commemorate a hard hunt that ended with a small but hard won buck and the hunter chose to mount it this way. May have hiked in for miles and shot his/her first buck after putting in a ton of time and effort. Gotta remember, it was done by an individual for their personal collection. Not every trophy has to be a heavy horned monster.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy shoot....what a ride!"

I would not hang it in my living room, but I do think it is a pretty cool idea. I would hang it in a Man Cave if I had one.
