Default Double bearded Osceola down

Things are rockin in south Florida. Called in 5 longbeards and a ton of hens before getting one in range. Double 9.5" beards with 1 3/8" spurs. Lots of gobblin. Trying to get on one for my dad this afternoon. He had 2 at 47 yards this morning and thought they were coming closer but walked off with some hens.

Should be good the next couple of days

Congrats and good luck to your dad! Post up some pics of that trophy bird when you get a chance.

Could you PM me outfitter info if you used one? Got a buddy that wants to get an Osceola.

Private land owned by a family friend. Saw lots of birds driving around. Would not be hard to knock on doors and kill a bird

After going 7 years in a row of killing 3 of the subspecies, it's good to start the season off right!

I went with Ted Jaycox with Tall Tine Outfitters, great guide and tons of birds. I would certainly recommend him!
