Default Good survey

I would find it interesting to see where a lot of people fall on this since we have such a disagreement on the other thread as to what is what in political thought processes. Its only 10 questions.

Where I fell.

Where I would've expected given the questions. Were there questions related to federal regulation of natural resources and public land, it would have likely skewed closer to the center...

I don't particularly identify strictly with any one party. I'm for a smaller government. Financially conservative. Think government should get away from social issues. Whatever all that means.

Not talking about the party. The Libertarian party is a joke and only 4 percent of Libertarians identify with the party. Im speaking of the philosophy. You answered yes.

It said I was libertarian on the far right, which is mostly what I consider myself. Not the garbage 'libertarian' that's so mainstream these days, though. I consider a far right leaning libertarian a constitutionalist, which I'm proud to be.

Explain?

(I don't remember what the 2nd question was)

There were a couple I didn't find an answer I fully agreed with either

Yeah. I skipped a couple due to the fact that the choices provided weren't in line with how I feel. I ended up not doing the survey. Like any survey, the outcome can be skewed due to the choices provided.

The one thing I like about you sir is that when everyone lost all hope and rolled out the red carpet for Hillary ...You my friend defied such defeat and pulled everyone back together both mentally and physically and got us all back in line to push toward that republican victory. Lol! Seriously? Mike was the one maintaining that Hillary was the "anointed one", and would be elected regardless of what the voters did.

I usually describe myself as a libertarian-leaning conservative. The survey results show me as libertarian, but close to the conservative line. Several of the questions did not give me an option that exactly reflected my views but that's pretty close. I think a question about the constitution - originalist vs. "living constitution" - would be a good one to include.

I really did not agree with any of the choices on the last question, so I picked what I viewed as the lesser of 4 bad ideas.

You must be thinking of a different Mike. He was Trump all the way as I remember it. I think he just thought she would cheat her way in.

There ya' go... I'm still a bit surprised that "THEY" allowed or maybe couldn't stop his win... "THEY" sure ain't done yet...

As for the survey... I stopped with the first question because it became apparent that the questions / answers are designed for a certain outcome.

Really... the insight is that I could not in good conscious accept any one of the answers in its entirety.

Lol, if they would add an abortion question to the survey, everyone in the libertarian category would immediately move into the conservative category.

I repeat,

You all are not libertarians when you are not pro-choice. If you support govt intervention, that's not libertarian.

To the OP, how can this be a good survey when it does not consider abortion?

The survey is skewed

Sure buddy, I don't understand.

Apparently you can read the Libertarian party platform, you just choose not to agree with it and still call yourself libertarian. lol

How can there be a survey when abortion is not a question on it?
