I have all the ingredients for Taco Soup for Saturday after the evening hunt. I will get the crock pot loaded around noon and let it cook. Serve with hot corn tortillas and butter. We will most likely be quartering out a couple of deer so this will save us time.

I got it mostly made and did not have any taco seasoning.. Had to use a little Blaze chili mix.

It was very good.

Taco soup in progress as I type this. It smells amazing but I forgot the cilantro so another trip to the store is in order.

This will now be a regular thing in my house. Absolutely delicious, adding cilantro is the only way to go.

So I want to try this, but my little one has food allergies. The ranch beans are out because of soy. Any idea if I could substitute all pintos and not jack it up too bad.

I made this last night with 2#s venison and it was awesome!! I poured it over fritos & topped with some fresh grated sharp cheddar. I only have 1 problem with it. I feel like the name "Taco Soup" doesn't capture what it really is. No disrespect to Arrow Pilot but think we are going to call this Fiesta Frito Pie around our house. That's what it tasted like-- frito pie but more fun. Awesome recipe. Thank you for sharing!
