    East Texas Decisions...

Have a regular visitor (for now) and trying to decide what is going to happen if he comes out this weekend. Small lease (<1000 acres) and borders the National Forest. I think I have my answer - 3.5 - 4.5? Has trash at the base and a kicker...

I don’t see a 3 year old in those pics. I’d guess 5+ with no history

What should happen is you shoot a nice mature east Texas buck. I think he is at least 5.

Hammer down man, like both of the above posts, he’s mature. I wouldn’t pass on him.

Nice deer, especially for the eastern extents.

Solid 4yr-5yr old deer in my opinion. Looks like a pretty nice and mature east Texas buck. I’d take him personally.

He is thick. I wouldnt worry about age. The only reason I would pass him, is if I wanted to hunt some more.

If he’s only 4 or 5, he needs a couple years

Looks mature to me. I would release an arrow.
