Yes, it takes away from the talent of capturing that perfect image manually...but there are times when you take one, think you have it, get home and load it on the computer and it is not at all as good as you thought (or at least that is the case for me ). This camera gives you so many options AFTER you take the photo.

Better get an external hard drive as well. I can only imagine the Gigs of data that will be consumed on baby pictures. Camera look real cool..............

I do the same quite often.... think I've captured a great one only to be disappointed on the large screen.
