Found something that brings back a lot of memories

It belonged to my dad- it’s probably 50 years old. It brings back memories of following him across fields, my boots crunching the frosty grass on crisp winter mornings. Do people still use these?

Quail call made from an early snuff can.

I only have one left that a friend and mentor 35 yrs older than I taught me to make. He passed 2 years ago and it's always in my daily used drawer. Great to see another.

Yep. After we would bust a covey you wait a few minutes then call. The singles would sound off in reply. We would circle downwind then send our little brittany off to find them.
