Can We Drop The .5 From Deer Aging?

Can we just say a deer is 4, 5 or whatever his age is and stop all the 4.5, 5.5 stuff?

Guys age deer in the summer at 4.5 and age the same deer six months later at 4.5 because anytime they talk age they are programmed to tack on “and a half” to everything.

Deer aging and women telling women how old their baby is are the only times I can think of people trying to get that detailed on how old something is.

The deer is 3, 4, 5, whatever and that’s it. We all know today’s not his half birthday. 1st world rant over.

I do tend to call deer .5 in the winter, but I really don’t know if they’re 3.5 or 3.75. Lol

It doesn’t bother me either way. I guess it’s the OCD in people, but I couldn’t really care less what people use to age and what they say. It’s all the same.

I stopped using the .5 a long time ago.

But if we are gonna gripe a little, if guys could stop with the "he's either 3 or 3.5"...or "He looks 5 or 5.5 to me"...that would be cool.
