Well our local mall had a parade indoors and candy collection for the kids. On the way in, a lady told my daughter in law and my wife, that they needed to get our granddaughter signed up for the contest. So they figured why not.
Now while walking along the path of kids and parents, many asked to be photographed with my granddaughter Nickelle, which we happily let them do. When it came time to walk across the stage, Nickelle was not holding back, and neither did the judges as my granddaughter won First Place for Cutest Costume for 2011.
