    Blind size

I'm building another blind and I think I am going to build a 5foot by 5 foot box blind I think it will be plenty of room to move round and draw my bow. What do y'all think?

I think you'll get by, but wish you made it bigger.

X2 5 feet is way to close unless you have real short arms.

How tall y'all think the inside of the blog should be.

Depends on if you want to shot sitting down or have the option of shooting standing up???

To shoot standing up I would need atleast 6.6 feet.

I made a 6x8 stand for a pop up this year. going to turn it into a blind after the season. I am going to make mine 7 feet tall just to make sure. besides most panels ad 4x8 to not much waste.

I've said these around here many times before but I think the depth dimension is most important. I would make it 6.5' deep. You want to be able to sit near the back with plenty of room for your drawing elbow and still be a good distance from the window you are shoooting out of.

I made a 5x5x7'6" and have plenty of room. Can shoot sitting down or standing up. I am 6' and 29" dl. I am 3 for 3 out of it this year.

Ours are 4'X6'X6'tall. I made my original stand smaller and regretted it. My original stand was 4'X5"X6" tall. When I sat at the back of the stand shooting down the long side, my arrow hung out the window prior to draw. With 6' length everything stays inside the blind, and you can move around a little. Save yourself the headache and build it just a little bigger.

                              This /\

If you still haven't started, I would go 6 x 6minimum. I have 5-07 x 5-07 pop-up and I have to draw into a corner and swing the bow around to the window to shoot.
