    Anyone ever BBQ’s using Osage (BodArc) wood?

    I’ve always Q’d with oak and my dad is a big fan of 50-50 oak and pecan, but was reading a BBQ forum earlier and a few guys are talking about using Osage on pork. Anyone ever use it to BBQ?

    Never used it does burn hot and pops more than most other woods might get a little ash on your meat

      Never smoked with it but it makes great coals for cooking any kind of meat over. I’ve done bbq chickens and grilled sausage over boisdarc coals.
