What did the bases measure? I know little about sheep, but he looks extremely massive to me.
And beautiful scenery for sure.

Very massive. That will help him score wise big time. We didnt have time to rough measure him. As soon as we killed him the weather turned and it rained for the rest of our trip. The sheep will be measured tomorrow by NMGF

We should be finding out what he officially scores here shortly. No matter what it is we are way happy jusy want him to be in the mid 170s.

Steep unit!!

Helping a fellow hunter out is hunting in its truest sense.

Congrats to both you on an outstanding adventure

They see hikers every day and the ewes are very curious. It took them 30 minutes to peak their heads over to see what was going on.

The Rams as they get older push into some deeper pockets and are not as curious as the ewes. Finding Sheep is not the problem on this hunt.

Logistically getting 7 miles in and finding a mature Ram is the hard part.

What an adventure! What a ram! That is a whole nother level of hunting from what I can see and imagine. Although the photos are exceptional I'm sure they don't do justice to the beautiful country y'all got to hunt in. Congratulations to the hunter on what looks to be a perfect shot on a very handsome trophy ram. Thanks for sharing.

I never really had a thirst for hunting sheep but that all changed with all the Podcasts I've been listening to. Starting next year I'm going to play the game and start putting in all over.
