    Successful end to the season

Had some close encounters with several fully mature bucks but just couldn’t make it happen . I did however connect with three does . This last doe was old , I estimated her at 8.5 this year by her teeth . She was smart and a true trophy imho with the stick bow . She made it 50 yards before giving it up . First year to hunt with the recurve after giving up 20+ years with a compound. No turning back for me

Congrats sir! Like others have said, those old does that have been around the woods a few years are hard to kill with a bow!
