Easiest and best way to build a cheap tripod??

I am looking to build around a ten foot tripod in the easiest and most cost effective way possible. Does anybody have any suggestions and or drawings to post. Anything will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Brice

Are you looking for inexpensive or just want something to build? There are a lot of sales right now at BPS, Gander Mountain, Sportsmans Warehouse and Academy that all feature cheap tri pods. Might want to check em out before you go buy a lot of materials. Other than that, I got nothin on plans.

Cull has a tripod design that is pretty sharp. I am going to build one in the next few weeks. Do a search under tripod stands ...its on the 7th page toward the bottom in DIY section. Would post the link but don't know how.
