    DIY Fridge Smoker Build

Picked up an old fridge to build a new smoker. Gonna tear down and put back together with a smoke daddy pellet hopper and some nice paint. I'll try to update the thread as I go.

This is the test dummy for the larger one I have.

I'm not this good at paint but here's my goal (minus super fancy paint).

Got a few more parts in today. Should finish tear down today and start cutting holes for vents etc.

I have one similar in the shop that I plan to make into a cold smoker.

I built one yeaaaarrrsss ago out of an old Kelvinator fridge like that. I just built a fire in the bottom of it. I took it all the way down to the shell only. The biggest headache was the glue used on the inside of the shell. It was tough to get out.

It worked fine, though. Storing it outside did it in as it eventually rusted too much to use.

                        I'll be following.
