    2 Kansas Bird Offerings

    A cooperating White-crowned Sparrow:

Migrating American White Pelicans at the Neosho County Wildlife Refuge. Hard to get close to these very large birds. The cool looking thing on their beaks fall off after eggs are laid!
    Auto focus going beserk!
Check out the coot in the lower right for a size reference.

those are really nice pics. I never get tired of looking at pelicans, especially in flight. They look so graceful and powerful in flight.

I always look forward to spring because it means Mr. Bailey starts posting his great bird photos and he has certainly not disappointed in this instance.

            Very nice shots Mr. Bailey!

That sparrow shot is outstanding, Bill. And he's not even on your fence! Nice bokeh!

                      Thanks all.
I set up a home made feeder that uses a 5 gallon water jug to dispense the food. I can lower it to my blind level and have dead tree branches fastened to it so birds can strike a pose with the feeder out of view. Should be interesting in a few weeks when I return.
I'm using one of those small pop-up blinds, should get very close.

You get strong results from that lens, Bill. Well done!

I'd accept donations to become even stronger Canon needs to do a yard sale.
