Wonder if this effects helicopter hog hunting

Following a helicopter crash in New York City’s East River on March 11 that left five people dead, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on Friday temporarily grounded flights that have open doors and that employ tight seat restraints that could potentially ensnare passengers in emergencies.

I would assume hog hunters have very good harnesses on.

Stupid rule, the doors being off had nothing to do with them drowning. They drowned because they did not know how to operate the seat belt latches.

You mean the harnesses they had on because the doors were open?

Funny how so many people don't read and understand ehat the article clearly states. harnesses were in place of the seat belts. The harness was not of a type that could easily be disconnected. And that is precisely why at least some of these people died.

This particular rule change is a no brainer.
